¡¡¡¡China COSCO Holdings Co. Ltd. issued a share ratio increasing notice: on Sept. 12th, 2008, it was informed by the controlling shareholder-China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company (COSCO) - that COSCO has subscribed for more of its shares via the securities exchange system of Shanghai Stock Exchange. Details are as follows:
¡¡¡¡On Sept. 12th, 2008, by the securities exchange system of Shanghai Stock Exchange, COSCO has subscribed for 7,287,698 more of the shares from China COSCO Holdings Co. Ltd. Before which, COSCO held 5,472,806,911 shares, 53.57% of the total. However at present the shares COSCO holds has mounted to 5,480,094,609, accounting for 53.64%.
¡¡¡¡Together with those parties acting in concert, COSCO has altogether hold 54.39% of the total equity. (Details regarding parties acting in concert increasing their H-share ratios are enclosed in the 2008 Half-year Report of China COSCO Holdings Co. Ltd.).
¡¡¡¡In the next 12 months, COSCO is to continue with this share ratio increasing through the same securities trading system in Shanghai Stock Exchange, however the portion to be added will not exceed 2% of the company's total share (including the amount already subscribed for).
¡¡¡¡And as is promised, COSCO will not reduce the share proportion during the planned session as well as in the statutory period. |
