¡¡¡¡Sept. 16th, Rugao Port, Nantong of Jiangsu, Rongsheng Heavy Industries Group Co., Ltd. (Jiangsu Rongsheng), China's largest private shipbuilding enterprise, held a formal groundbreaking ceremony for the deep-water pipe laying crane ship "Offshore Oil 201", which is entrusted by China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC).
¡¡¡¡Reportedly, "Offshore Oil 201" is the first independently designed and constructed deep-water pipe laying crane ship that is self-propelled as well as capable of DP-3 dynamic positioning, meanwhile it is also the first vessel of CNOOC to perform deep-water pipe laying and lifting operations. The overall technological level and operational capacity are of leading positions among similar engineering vessels worldwide. Expectedly in the first half of 2010, the new vessel is to be delivered. |
