MOL schedules transpacific loop via Da Chan Bay

¡¡¡¡Japanese ocean carrier Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) has slashed its call at Chiwan (Shenzhen, China), on its Pacific Southwest Express (PSX) service linking the Far East with ports in California, US. In future, sailings will be scheduled at the Da Chan Bay Terminal One (DCBT1), which is located further west in the Shenzhen area.
¡¡¡¡Currently, the service uses 5 x 5,600TEU, with MOL's New World Alliance partners; APL and Hyundai Merchant Marine, buying slots. Its revised rotation comprises direct calls at Xiamen, Da Chan Bay, Hong Kong, Yantian, Oakland, Los Angeles, Oakland and Tokyo.
¡¡¡¡"Once lines take the first step in experiencing Da Chan Bay Terminal One services, they will gain confidence in the terminal and come back with more services," said Andrew Milliken, CEO of DCBT1.
